Hi there, I'm Lauri! First and foremost, I want you to know that I am here and writing in order to help. Everything I post here is meant to encourage, expand, intrigue, and inform. Since I was a child, I've been putting words everywhere-- on paper, on boards, on cards-- and I didn't stop there. When I was younger, I was studying up and writing on everything from cars to horses and tropical fish. Over time and with the discovery of my niche in language and culture studies, I began to write on the science of learning foreign languages and its implications in our daily lives. How do you overcome the fear of speaking? Where do you even start learning a new language for work, travel, or personal reasons? How to you determine and pursue your goals?
For the last decade, I've been trying to find these answers for my own learning journey. Now I am here for all of you, precisely to answer all of those questions and much more. As I continue exploring, expanding my worldview, and finding new solutions, I want to share these developments and make your experiences with languages and cultures more positive, productive, and rewarding!
Languages make my world bigger, and culture inspires me. What you see here are my own photos, my own ideas, and my own thoughts.
